  • Lack of funds for condominiums

    In Québec, more self-managed condominiums experience a lack of funds than do condominiums that are administered by a manager.

  • Condominium insurance is convoluted

    Throughout Québec, condominium insurance is convoluted while the Civil Code requires all condominium to have insurance, insurance companies are not obligated to insure condominiums. Due to this disadvantage many syndicates are refused coverage or are underinsured. Preventative measures and proper insurance management must be put in place to avoid these situations.

  • New obligations for condominium associations

    In 2020 and 2018, Laws 16 and 141 imposed new obligations for condominium associations in terms of funds, major works and insurance. We offer our employees accredited condominium training courses to help you apply and navigate these new laws.
